The Cowork, Claude Code and ChatGPT route
The same workbench as a free, open-source plugin for agents, and as a command that opens it in your browser with no agent at all.
Screengraft started as a plugin for Claude Code and Cowork, and that version is still here, free and MIT-licensed. It runs the same workbench, the same edge-matching, the same realism pass, on your Mac, and saves the result into a folder instead of onto a Figma canvas.
Install
In Claude Code or Cowork:
/plugin marketplace add seq000/screengraft
/plugin install screengraft@fraczyk-tools
Then ask for a screenshot on a photo. The workbench opens in your browser; you fit the edges; the result comes back to the folder you’re working in.
Without an agent:
npx screengraft --out-dir ./mockups
opens the same workbench in your default browser.
What it needs
Python 3 with OpenCV. The first run sets that up in its own folder (~/.screengraft) and touches nothing else on your machine. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The page talks only to a local server on your Mac.
Where it differs from the Figma plugin
| Figma plugin | Cowork / CLI | |
|---|---|---|
| Screenshot in | select a frame on the canvas | a file, or a Figma frame link the agent exports |
| Result out | placed on the canvas | a PNG in your folder |
| Resolution | 1024 px free, full with Pro | full, always, no cap |
| Video | H.264 in the browser | H.264 or ProRes, rendered locally |
| Price | free, or $49€49 once for full resolution and video | free, MIT |
The Cowork route is the right one when the destination isn’t Figma: a case study on a site, a client deck, a ProRes master for an editor.
